Arts in Smyrna - taking shape!  Be part of it!

The Smyrna Artists Business Association is the newest addition to the arts and culture mix in Smyrna.

Meetings are at the the stone chapel building of First Baptist Church of Smyrna (1275 Church Street) on the corner of King and Church Streets on second Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.  Click here for directions. Visit http://smyrnaaba.blogspot.com/ and be part of the growing Smyrna art scene.

_______________________________The Backstory!__________________________________________

A little background:  The first meeting was in October 2007 and charged with energy and ideas!  Thanks to all who attended and shared ideas for the present and the future.  The second meeting was very productive and committees formed at that meeting are now working on the website, meetings and organization structure. The first year rounded out with the first event, Spirit Talk/Art Walk .

The Smyrna Artists Business Association is currently inviting artists to a business association specifically for artists. SABA has speakers on varied art topics the second Tuesday in each month. Monthly meetings are held at the stone chapel building of Smyrna First Baptist of Smyrna--1275 Church Street-- on the second Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

More than just business concerns for artists, SABA is looking for a way for local artists to communicate and interact with each other on a regular basis.  If you are a professional or are an artist who is currently in a business venture making use of your creativity or may be looking for guidance in business concerns for artists, visit SABA online at http://smyrnaaba.blogspot.com/

SABA's mission is enhancing the quality of life by fostering and supporting the growth of arts in its community.
